foodie
ˈfuːdi/
noun
Another annoying word. If only someone called me a 'gourmet' instead.
Just to clarify, I don't eat at many fancy restaurants. I prefer to check out anything from street food, to the best cappuccinos or desserts, cocktails or just somewhere with good service and a nice atmosphere. As long as the food has some flavour, is fresh, reasonably priced, has been given in respectable portions, I'm in.
Being fortunate enough to live in London, whatever my budget is, I am spoilt for choice. I keep an eye out on TimeOut for things like the 'Best brunches in London' and usually leave a review on Tripadvisor.com if the food or service was really good (or terrible).
